Getting started

What is Proxz Master?

Proxz Master is an on-demand printing service for Magic: The Gathering proxies. Paste a decklist (or bring your own art) and each card is matched to its exact printing for a priced preview, then printed on premium stock using a proprietary multi-layered acrylic deposition process and shipped to you.

What card stock are the cards printed on?

Every card is printed on premium 310 GSM stock — the same heavyweight weight and feel as real Magic cards — using our proprietary multi-layered acrylic deposition process for crisp, durable color. They shuffle and sleeve just like the originals.

Are these official cards? Can I use them in sanctioned play?

No. These are proxies intended solely for personal, non-commercial use such as playtesting in private games. They are not tournament-legal and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any art you submit — see the acknowledgement shown at checkout.

Building your deck

How do I build an order?

There are three ways to start, all under Build a Deck:

  • Decklist — paste a list from Moxfield, Arena, MTGO, or plain text.
  • Json — import a Moxfield deck's JSON export to preserve exact printings.
  • Upload — upload a ZIP of finished images, or import one from a Google Drive / Dropbox link.

However you start, your deck opens in the same builder where you can preview every card, adjust quantities, set a card back, and confirm before paying.

Can I edit my deck or swap a single card?

Yes. In the builder you can add or remove cards, change quantities, and reorder them. Hover any card and use the ⬆ replace button to swap just that card's art — including for an uploaded deck, so you can fix one image without re-uploading the whole ZIP. Add a card by name, or upload a custom image, using the Add card tile.

What about card backs and double-faced cards?

Single-faced cards share one card back — pick the Proxz Master back, drag one of your cards into the BACK slot, or upload your own. Double-faced cards automatically print their real back, so they don't use the shared back.

Images & uploads

What image formats and sizes should I use?

Use PNG, JPG, or WebP (re-save TIFF or BMP before uploading). For the sharpest print, aim for 750×1050px or larger (300 DPI at card size), but most ordinary card art prints well — common sources like Scryfall's "normal" images (488×680) are fine.

We don't block an upload for being a little small: you preview every card in the builder and approve it yourself. If an image is on the low side we'll flag it so you can decide whether to replace it.

My images "look fine" — why were some flagged?

A flag is just advice, not a rejection — if the art looks good to you in the preview, it's good to print. We only stop an upload when an image truly can't be used: it's empty or corrupt, or it's a format we don't support (re-save TIFF/BMP as PNG/JPG/WebP). Those are listed clearly so you can fix or remove just those files.

Can I include real card names with an upload? (manifest.json)

Optionally, yes. Drop a manifest.json at the top level of your ZIP to give real card names (and optional set / collector number) instead of file names — handy if you exported from a tool like MPCFill. Each entry is matched to an image by its file name. The Build from Upload page shows the exact format under the Optional Manifest tab; files you don't list simply keep their file name.

Pricing & payment

How does pricing work?

Cards are priced per card with a small surcharge for double-faced cards, plus shipping. A minimum order total applies. You'll always see the full price in the preview before you pay — nothing is charged until you check out with Stripe.

Orders & shipping

Can I edit or cancel an order?

Draft orders can be edited any time before checkout. After payment you can still cancel from My Orders until the order reaches production — a paid order is refunded automatically when cancelled.

How long are my card images kept?

Your order details are saved permanently, but the card images are removed to save storage once an order is finished or abandoned: cancelled orders are cleared right away, delivered orders a week after delivery, and unused drafts after 7 days of inactivity. You can always rebuild from your decklist.

How long does shipping take?

Production begins after payment; you'll see your order move through production → shipping → delivered in My Orders. Reach out via the Contact page if you have a question about a specific order.
